“DERAILED” is a collection of photographs from the month of December, 2020. All of these photographs are symbolic, and represent my thoughts and emotions as a result of the events of the last year. After seemingly everything went wrong, I experienced an overwhelming numbness, combined with intense unrest and unrelenting pain. I used these photographs, and photography in general, to find a temporary release from my thoughts. I hope others can use my experience and these photos to cope with what has been a crushing year.

This is a book of black and white photos that I shot over the month of December, 2020. These photos are a reaction to the events of the past year, which have been incredibly hard to process for so many people. I hope people can engage with these in a meaningful way, and find their own meanings for the collection as a whole.
